The model we use around the office is the Sabrent USB 3.0 to SATA/IDE Adapter. However, you can dump a third copy of important data on a spare drive, just to be sure. So when you want to upgrade your external drive, all you have to do is swap out the drive inside-instead of buying a completely new product. Suggestions??
