This saves a "cookie" on the computer indicating that you're authenticated and allows Outlook to communicate with the server successfully. if you don't need to move them to a new folder you could use a custom view to show or hide tasks based on % complete or other fields. Can someone confirm that this issue is still unresolved and perhaps provide a work around and/or a projected date as to when this problem will be fixed? When I try Synchronizing my Outlook 2003 with it I get an error message ‘You do not have permission to view this Windows SharePoint Services folder.' .
Is there any way to create that view in 07? can you tell me how to overcome this problem…. I should have included this as part of the question. The ‘For Follow Up' folder is great, but why can't it look into the imap folder and locate flagged messages there?
I cannot find where to setup the categories for the entire company. It's interesting that if you mark one of the duplicate tasks complete, they both dissappear. BUT, then I discovered that not only are these great new features not supported for IMAP, but the ability to set colored flags and reminders was TAKEN AWAY as well! I would also like to know how to change the way "Outlook Today" displays those tasks, so that it displays "Urgent and important" at the top, next "urgent" and so on… The time value that the new function of the flags represents could easily be created by user with only 4 flags for today tomorrow etc. I was very excited to read about the new categories feature in Outlook 2007 and the ability to create category based search folders.
I don't know if this is implemented in Outlook 2007, but hiearchical Tasks is a feature which is absolutely necessary in my GTD system, and KOrganizer does it very well. I do have Connect to Outlook in calendar views of regular lists. It takes just 2 minutes to sign up (and it's free!). Any other ideas?
