I got rid of a computer because of this. One needs to be logged in at ProQuest or logged into their library account and used the search from the library links. It is 100% reproducible and the problem does *not* resolve itself if you wait 2 seconds. Copy Paste Not Working Windows Good luck.

Very annoying. Apparently some sort of memory-management issue with Skype, Office and the browsers. Problem immediately went away (I did not have to reboot). Clear Clipboard Mac DREADFUL. -- Unchecking "clean clipboard"in smartRAM solved the issue - it worked like magic.
