A file is locked and cannot be overwritten. After the re-instillation I noticed when I pressed alt-ctrl-delete that msiexec.exe was there, but that it kept running itself, then dissapearing, repeatedly. It's called the McAfee Consumer Products Removal Tool and I give their site link right here to make it easier than the Dumb as a Rock process I completed. I just let the script run and it uninstalled no problem. When I do the client only install, it tries to install MDAC2.6 over MDAC2.7SP1.
