I haven't noticed any bad side effects and it may actually prevent my printer from trying to reinstall the printer software/driver every time I restart my computer. I know I didn't always get the hang even though I had those mappings in the past. I did try the previously suggested fixed to no avail. My testbed computers never experienced the problems due to their membership in the domain. I tried disconnecting the network drives as suggested above and got a message stating, 'you have no network drives to disconnect'. Thank you so very much. After disconnecting the network drives, I still could not get the Save Function to work.
I have had issues where corrupt add-ins will cause the Save As dialog box appear behind excel and make it look like it has froze. Kinda sucks tho that I'll have to use that after each time I use that drive!
