Some times Windows XP 64-bit Operating System does not give the permission to create the shortcut. Refresh the desktop to see the restored icon. You can then drag it over to change the position of the icon on the taskbar. But I imagine there is something wrong if the msimn.exe file is missing. have a peek at these guys
