This has worked for me a few times and with others when I was helping them on their computers. This worked for me. Images now display again in messages in the Outlook Inbox.

If for some reason, the installed version of Internet Explorer is unable to display the image (i.e. Problem is now fully solved once I re-enabled the IE proxy settings. Removing the registry key didn't help, so ultimately I removed the users whole profile and let them do a clean logon. She can not see everything in one place and has only just discovered that she has not seen all of her mail properly for days.

Workaround for viewing the images nevertheless: Right-click the red cross and choose "Copy...". All of the other suggestions did not work. Everytime my emails are received by Microsoft Exchange they are NOT automatically viewable in the "inbox" folder. I've seen discussions of similar problems here... I am sure it's some simple thing that I just | don't know. I am sure it's some simple thing that I just don't know.
