However deleting and re-deleting the 2013 IMAP inbox ost's and restarting Outlook 2013 to re-download the IMAP inboxes into the recreated ost file will eventually after numerous tries produce what possibly Emails Disappearing From Outlook 365 You may get a better answer to your question by starting a new discussion. Let's hope this is it! The next time you see a missing emailplease turn on logging, then remove the account from Outlook and then add it back (File, Account Settings, Account Settings).

Not that you cant get to the other email (all you need to do is run a search in the folder you are in to pull up the older messages). Two years worthof more recentemails are not synced. BTW: I wasn't using any filter settings at all! More about the author I didn't hear back from anyone regarding a fix and, as far as I'm aware, it's still an unresolved problem with Outlook 2013.
ME couldn't help me at all but now they are getting more of the same request hopefully they will take it serious.. I have a particular NEED to continue to use a "real" email 'client.' What to do??? strangely i did not receive mails on the new laptop, the inbox was always empty. Is your email account on Outlook.com?
So let me revise. A workaround to force the download, but not prevent future occurrence, is to (on outlook.com) create a folder and move the relevant emails into that folder. WTHeck? Any ideas?
