My hosting provider runs SmarterMail. I've been searching and haven't found any answers yet. For some reason, the official production release of Outlook 2013 requires Outlook to be literally pointed at an IMAP inbox in order for it to respect IMAP delivery without delay. I am not sure why Microsoft cannot get something this basic correct, and DO NOT address when they hear comments from all these people. check my blog
