Perfect for Internet, Not for heavy usage or gaming however. I tried to install IE8 from the M$ link and again the BSOD memory dump si I had to do a systen restore to get it back. The fact that using another browser poses no problems...points squarely at IE. Anyone have any ideas how I can fix this without losing my old e-mails.

I installed SP3 on my custom built Athlon64 system the day it was released, and haven't had a problem. Basically it looks like Microsoft made a change in Outlook Express to improve its security a little.
